These whisky jugs are decorative and tells a story of the life for countryside folks.
The dogs, horses, windmills, trees, and the gentleman having well deserved jug of whisky is all set beautifully in the cream over patterns of the salt glaze of deep brown on top and a lighter brown underneath.
All manufacturers' marks are imprinted underneath and there are a few chips around the jug's pourer area, which isn't surprising considering how far it's come in time and its alcohol content. Other than that, it's a fine example of drinks jugs of that era.
