I love this French vintage style cake stand, with two beautiful, pressed glass plates that look the part. 

The frame is metal but is lightweight and looks rustic in appearance.  I could definitely see this in a cake shop, or cafe showing some lovely pastries or at an afternoon tea event. 

It is in excellent condition and deserves to be centre of attention.
